Knoxville Symphony Orchestra: Scotch & Strings

Enjoy a delicious flight of specially selected Scottish whiskies alongside heavy hors d'oeuvres as the KSO principal string quartet presents a joyous recital at Boyd's Jig & Reel. Scotch & Strings takes place on Sunday, Feb. 25. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., performance starts at 6:15 p.m. Ticket purchase comes with four scotch samplings.

Tickets are $75 in advance; $85 at the door.

Love People presents: A Jazz Experience with Rod McGaha

Love People is about creating more Jazz experiences for the artists, fans of the artists, fans of the music, as well as the bystander who happens to find him or herself in the right place at the right time. Love People creates experiences for serious Jazz enthusiasts and offers just the right atmosphere for those who see Jazz as a cool scene for socializing, dancing and enjoying the people and music! This concert/fundraiser will feature the great trumpeter Rod McGaha from Nashville. Rod has played with Max Roach and Lou Rawls. His band includes Taber Gable on keys, Nioshi Jackson on drums, and Rob Linton on bass.
