Author Lauren Groff to speak at East Tennesse History Center, 601 S. Gay Street, Knoxville, TN 37902 on September 15 at 7:00PM.

Friends of the Library is excited to partner with Union Ave Books to bring Lauren Groff, three-time National Book Award finalist and celebrated author of Matrix and Fates and Furies, to Knoxville.

On Friday, September 15, Groff will present her newest book The Vaster Wilds, answer questions, and sign books. The event will start at 7:00 pm at the East Tennessee History Center. The Vaster Wilds is about a spirited girl who escapes her life as a servant in colonial Jamestown, taking nothing with her as she tries to survive alone in the wilderness.

Tickets for the event are $35 and include a copy of The Vaster Wilds. Tickets are available at ventbrite.com/e/an-author-event-featuring-lauren-groff-tickets
