Art Market Gallery of Knoxville Seeks Artists for Membership
Art Market Gallery is accepting art applications in 2D and 3D media; please choose only one medium for jury submission. Applicants may submit work in: clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, natural materials, mixed media, sculpture, paper arts, jewelry, painting/drawing, printmaking, computer generated art, and photography. It must be the original work of the artist and should be representative of the quality and nature that they wish to exhibit at the Gallery. You are encouraged to visit the Gallery to see the quality/presentation of the art exhibited. Gather your application documents, the $30 Jury Fee (Check preferred), and four artwork pieces in a single medium. Deliver all Sep 22-26, 11 AM – 5:30 PM. Jurying will take place on Sep 27 with results mailed on Sep 28. A panel of six active members of the Art Market Gallery will evaluate your work in each of four categories: technical skill, design, artistic style, and presentation. Consideration will also be given to the current needs of the Gallery. The jury will look for art that will complement but not duplicate our current artists’ work. Again, you are encouraged to visit the gallery to consider how your work would augment the Gallery.
