Jay Clark and the Tennessee Tree Beavers
Blount County songwriter Jay Clark and his band, the Tennessee Tree Beavers (Greg Horne, Daniel Kimbro, & Cory Kimbro). Jay will be debuting “Kingston,” a song co-written by Jay and Daniel along with a Kingston coal ash worker that is fighting for his life as a result of cleaning up the largest industrial spill in U.S. history. Jay and the Beavers, along with a few special guests, will present a musical documentary that tells the story of the coal ash spill at TVA’s Kingston Fossil Plant and the heroic efforts of the workers that cleaned up the toxic mess. Many of the Kingston coal ash workers have died. Many more are sick and dying. Jay dedicates this show to them and their families.
