For the second year running, KHP will be hosting a virtual fundraising event to help fund our operations and mission work, but also to recognize individuals in the community who’s own work has significantly contributed to what we know about Knoxville history and culture.

This year, KHP will honor Dr. Charles and Terry Faulkner, both for their individual efforts to bring out some of the untold stories of Knoxville--including Charlie’s archeological work at Ramsey House, Blount Mansion, Cavett’s Station and elsewhere, and Terry’s work to interpret the cultural history of Bearden--as well as their joint efforts to add much to what we know of the once-formidable Union Fort Sanders, the subject of their recent book.
